Chrissie Jackson

Chrissie is Maria's warm hearted, but flighty mother. Although divorced from Alan and living with her boyfriend Ivan, Chrissie still makes regular visits to see her daughter and it's obvious that she loves her to bits. Maria misses having her mum around, but even she finds her a bit trying at times. Chrissie's ability to speak before she thinks, and usually at a hundred miles an hour, makes her seem just a teeny bit self obsessed and rude to almost everyone she meets, including Sally Jane, Mary Jane or whatever her name is. She never means any harm though, she's just...Chrissie.
Alan Jackson

Alan is Maria's sympathetic, caring and very understanding father. He has a brilliantly easy going and casual relationship with Maria, which Sarah Jane would love to emulate with Luke. That doesn't mean he doesn't still do embarrassing dad stuff though. The odd ruffle of Maria's hair and insistence on a goodbye peck on the cheek before school, is enough to make anyone cringe. Working in the IT industry and recently divorced from Maria's mum, Alan lives a pretty suburban life. Little does he know that his fourteen year old daughter and her new friends secretly help to defend the Earth from alien activity. If he ever found out would he jump in and help, or take Maria as far away as possible?
Clyde Langer

Clyde Langer is the cool new kid on the block and along with new school friends, Luke and Maria, the intrepid trio soon find themselves bound together by more than circumstance, taking on aliens and monsters to save both the planet, and their skins. Clyde is as cool as they come and streetwise to boot, something that Luke knows little about, but when paired with Luke's intelligence, Maria's heart and Sarah Jane's experience, the friends make a force to be reckoned with.
Maria Jackson

When Maria Jackson moved to Bannerman Road, her life changed forever. After a chance encounter with Sarah Jane Smith and a friendly visiting alien, Maria's eyes were opened to a whole new world of opportunity, mystery and adventure. A good friend to Sarah Jane, Maria often finds herself in sticky situations, but with the help and support of her friends Luke and Clyde, Dad Alan, and of course, Sarah Jane Smith, it's often the evil aliens and horrific monsters who threaten the earth that come unstuck.
Luke Smith

Luke Smith looks just like any other normal teenage boy, but look closer and you'll see that he's very, very special. Grown by the evil Bane as an archetype in their plan for world domination, Luke has the brain power of 10,000 people but, having only just been 'born', he has little understanding of the new world around him. A fast learner, Luke has an aptitude for books and science, and his intelligence often proves key in bringing down evil alien plans and helping to save the day.
